By sharing ‘lessons learned’ and through active mentoring the skills and experience of our team are enhanced for their own development and as a result for the betterment of the company.
We participate in Australia’s Institute of Engineers Professional Development Program. All of our engineers are encouraged and assisted to fulfil the necessary requirements to achieve Chartered Status.
Our owners, the directors of the company, are accessible and eagerly interact with clients, contractors and their staff. Perhaps more importantly, the company promotes positive relationships between clients, contractors and staff as a means of improving communication thus reducing project risk and therefore improving project outcomes. We take enormous pride in the quality of our work and constantly endeavour to maintain a high standard.
Andrew Beattie has been a Director of Rudds since 2000 after being a senior designer with the company since 1992. Andrew has extensive experience with Defence projects including major refurbishments and new works. He has enjoyed a broad experience over the past 20 years in mechanical services from RAN ship and submarine maintenance to air conditioning design of multi-storey buildings. Andrew has a special interest in project management with many local projects. Lou Forner has been with the company since 1991. He is the principal electrical engineer and has been a Director of the firm since 2000. Lou has a special interest in lighting design in buildings and enjoys working with architects to achieve excellent lighting arrangement. Lou's expertise also includes power supply and distribution, fire detection and building security. He also has an interest in the role of electro-magnetic fields on the design of buildings and fitouts. Lou Forner's Resume
