Industry recognition for 3D excellence

06 February 2011

Our 3D photorealistic lighting renders have gained international recognition by the creators of the lighting simulation software AGi32, who have featured the images produced on their website as a shining example of the flexibility and power of their software.

The renders, done as part of the design for the new Canberra International Airport Terminal for the Capital Airport Group, were produced to assist in quantifying the interior lighting environment. The intention was to maintain both environmental and aesthetic concerns, and compare the effects of subtle changes in the lighting layout on the look and feel of the spaces involved.

The renders, produced by Blake Wilson, Matt Hocking, Gail Sutton and John Tran (under the guidance of Olaf Theden), are the result of a combination of input from LDP (lighting concept consultant) and the project's architect Guida Moseley Brown.
