Victorian State Manager
Blake Wilson began with Rudds Consulting engineers in 2007 as an undergraduate engineer. During his time Blake has gained experience in the electrical, communications and fire aspects of building services design, This includes internal and external lighting level calculations, power supply requirements, power reticulation, communications design and passive fire detection design. Blake has experience with new building design, office fitout work, street lighting, road lighting and sports lighting design. Blake has shown a particular flair for lighting design including doing 3D modelling in AGI and his work is featured on the AGI website.
Blake has been involved in a number of key projects including the $280 million base building and integrated fitout for the Department of Employment, education and Work Relations (DEEWR) at 50 Marcus Clarke Street in Canberra which achieved a 5.5 Star NABERS rating and a 6 Star Certified Green Star rating.
Blake has also shown a flair in project management roles where management of people is important. Blake was involved with the design management of some of the HMAS Harman projects as well as being a client side project manager for a data centre fitout for Verizon.
Blake is currently the State Manager for the Rudds Consulting Engineers' Victorian office. Blake is responsible for business development, marketing, coordination of staff and design teams.
